When still in Germany and already at a young age, Beate dove into a bucket of pencils, paints and brushes, anything that would allow her to express her art visually, as well as into writing which often led to sore fingers and wrists, yet an always satisfying feeling. Her early piano studies in Germany strongly influenced her ability to connect feeling with storytelling and naturally opened new doors to creating art over time. She expanded her interest into the studies of Film, TV and Design, which she explored and worked in while in the United States.
With a growing fascination in the world of animation, Beate continues to sketch out her artistic path, focusing her expertise and interest on storytelling, concept art, character design brushed with elements of production design. She especially enjoys placing this combination into stop motion animation where she finds herself home.
In the realms of stop motion animation, a strong collaboration and powerful partnership with composer Brenton Costa was formed and lead to creating Liralon Studios. Their works of art gives voice to stories, meaningful messages and help other organizations find theirs.
